No, play the game untill you win thats the fun of it, when you do win you'll get a cheat code.
Otherwise nobody is going to tell you

well im back too. my pc's have crashed,,,but ive got them back...had all the cheat codes for mlu1 and mlu2,,,,but lost them in the crash. and forgot where i got them. both games are too,,,too hard and unfair. but thought id come back and see what is new. wish i still had my cheat codes....

hmmm, I remember I had access codes to the Pentagon, but lost them when my dog peed on my laptop, anyone wanna share them with me?

you need a radio, microphone and tape recorder, find white noise and ask the codes but better dont do that because you will have to pay for them later not with money.
And iam back again and i like the new mlu 2 summer version i noticed that there is more minerals in easy mode or i just become smarter . And cheat codes pl0x! i couldn't resist

are the cheat codes for mlu 1 the same as for 2? and alexxz4 i think you changed where they are in the code I cant find them!

the cheats are different and are encrypted for safety.

ok wow im kind of amazed that you think cheat codes need to be encrypted, if someone goes to the effort of learning how to decompile java they deserve at least one code don't you think but seriously now im going to have to go to all the effort of trying to learn how to break encryptions, i guess ill give myself a week to try and learn how, hope you didnt use some unbreakable super algorithm! Is there any other reason for going to the trouble of encrypting them besides not wanting people to shortcut? because the only reason im looking for them is that 1000 saves cheat, that i think should be available on easy mode any way, maybe when they run out of saves it can be an option to either start a new game or continue being able to play with scores disabled? If i still can't figure out the cheat for saves do you think you can pm me, because i have kind of lost the will to play. I have invested so much into this one save game and dont want to start another. I still really like your game and appreciate all the effort you go too to make it though!

Just thought of another method as well, i guess i can just recompile my own version of the game if all else fails

Well, you really didnt have to decompile the source in earlier versions to know the cheats. They are there but it doesnt say "cheat=superengine" (superengine is not an actual cheat), it says something like "ž superengine ", so you gotta know its the cheat not some variable. But then some people found out and started posting here and everywhere else what the cheats are. Also some people like sniffing around in byte codes hacking and finding out some sensitive info. You shouldn't be surprise cause encryption industry is a multibillion dollar business and almost everything out there is encrypted in some way.

Well, I didnt use a book to look for an encryption algorithm. It is pretty simple but its possible it is not a common one.
I think saving adds some danger to the game so you sometimes have to go several days without saving. I usually have about the same number of saves at the beginning as at the end, so it is never a problem for me. In the beginning your outings are pretty short so if you screwed up you only wasted 5-10 minutes. By the end when you spend half a day digging, you can afford to save every time cause you can find several "easter eggs" which contain saves every time.

I found the cheats! it took a little while and with just a little help i managed to crack the encryption, because i did it with just a pen and paper i there is one missing letter that wasnt used in the cheats, i am just wondering what q is in your encryption. Im so glad it was just simple encryption and there was an order to it

I agree with your idea that having the saves limit makes it harder but shouldn't it be the kind if thing in normal mode? make easy easy, normal with a normal amount of saves and hard with a little amount maybe? just another thing to differentiate the game modes and get players playing a second or third time!

easy mode has 50 saves, interemediate 30 and difficult 20.

im playing motherload 1 (pumpkin) i got a supership, and 2,6M
i can only get 15k foot down, and i can't get more money, because everything is digged up...when i reach 15k ft. i got no more full, and i don't have money for ice bombs anymore, so i can't reach 30k and get my cheat code )= i wonder if u could give me the code please?
