Hello Alex (and the rest of you hi too)

I wanna learn programming too, and i have been lookin` `round the internet for "Tutorials".. but those assume you know something already, and so far i can only write theoretical (aka "make action appear at 1000 points" then my answer is "If Points => 1000 Then Execute "Action"" which i think is totally wrong.) So my question is, ...

How did you learn programming? (java, rite?)

Oh, and wouldn`t the game be nice with some sounds? I`m not begging for them or something, i just havent found a good music to play under it.

Scratch that, i just saw snowglobe had some music, i got outdated versions, sigh.. back to lvl 1.. ^_^

The game does have sounds (about 12 of them) and a background music. You have to activate it in the startpage using arrow keys.

Well, 25% of it is learning, 75% of it you are born with. Not to say that not everyone can program... I learned java all by myself. But before that i learned C++ in college. One thing i can say is if you want to make games, there is a long road ahead of you. You might wanna start with GameMaker. It has a moderate progress curve, and u can make some powerfull stuff with it. Trying making something small then make it bigger with more features (whatever it is), is the way to go. Also, dont give up if something does not work. Patience is the biggest virtue in programming.
The best language to start is java (of course) because there are a lot of free tutorials and books available. The java tutorial is pretty good.
