I think I shall start this thread with an introduction. My name is Garrett, and I use the callsign/username KattFire, from which many people call me Katt. Although this name may imply myself to be female, this is not the case; I assure you, I am male.
I came upon your website yesterday, the 19th of November, (Just stating for the record.) and decided to join, after downloading your game. I find it to be quite entertaining, and I see much more potential within your project here.

Next, I think I shall ask a few questions. I noticed, on the menu, that there are three options; New Game, Load Game, and Cheats. I entered in a few stereotypical cheat codes (Dog/God, Miner, things like that.) and got an "Incorrect" message each time. Thus, I ask you, are there cheat codes for this game? I do not wish to know the cheats, as that would spoil the fun of finding them, but I would rather not waste my time racking my brain attempting to find some cheat that wouldn't work.
Also, is there anything I could do to help? I don't know anything about coding, nor am I any good with design of any sort, but if I can, I would love to help out.

And, to conclude, I love what you have going here, and I hope to see more later.

There are definitely cheat codes, but I don't even know them.  Lol, personally if I want to cheat in a flash or java game I use a memory editor . . .

I could use some help. But first thing you gotta know is that i may sometimes be harsh and critical. So if i find something that i dont like and you spend like 5 hrs working on it, then dont be upset. Its just my nature.
What i need help with is mostly graphics. I do have a graphics person, Sethness, but he dissapeared somewhere, i havent seen him in a week or so. So if u are decent in graphics, you can scan through the development topic and figure out what i need. Mostly i need graphics for the shops.
About the cheats: ull get one cheat when u beat the game. There are 10 cheats altogether.

Xzed, i really apreciate if u contact me first about posting cheats or any other top-secret info. It doesnt take a brain-suregeon to figure out what those cheats are.

I would be more than willing to help with graphics, however I have little to no skill in such. Nevertheless, I shall attempt it - later. I will be away for about a week, don't worry, it's just a week-long Thanksgiving vacation. I'll be back.

I'll poke around and see what I can find. Thanks for the warning, too. I'll try not to get too upset, but my artwork is far from professional. Again, I'll see what I can do.

Thanks for the tips on the cheats. I was just playing around with the cheats using typical things, such as Dog or God which are typical for many games (God-Mode is a common use for invincibility, so I dediced to give it a whirl) rather than looking for anything that is truely MLU or Motherload related. However, I will take a look around the cheats a little more.

Also, those images are amazing, although I can easily make a simply something for myself if I was inclined to do such. Sadly, I don't have the capacity to build such things as those, so I would be at a loss, should I decided to battle you in an art contest.

I could indeed do some work with text documents, as I am known to be a grammar perfectionist, despite the fact that I'm not always as perfect as I like to believe myself to be. If you want help with that, shoot me an e-mail (Kattfire@hotmail.com) and I'll be glad to help. My mother is constantly asking me for help with editing her geneology articles, which I normally try to put off, as it bored me to death. However, articles on a game, I am more than willing to write.

Looks like I have a score to beat, as well. . . My record is 3K. . . so I have a ways to go.

well i guess you can proof-read the user guide im writing (with Pariah's help). It should be ready tomorrow.
Now that sethness has returned, he'll resume working on graphics so u dont have to do any.

That icon is a tribute to the original motherload remake (the icon is about 1.5 years old).

You know what i would do if i had gimp or photoshop? I would play around with it for 3-5 minutes, find out that i couldnt do nothing with it and uninstall it. (Actually i did that already with GIMP...)

Surprisingly (or not) i use JCreator Light which has very few features, pretty lights or small windows. Plus it doesnt force on you its  own style like MDS by rearanging yo code however it likes.
All the other high-tech IDE's like Eclipse or JavaBuilder have that intrusive class lookup thing that pops up in the middle of a page at any time. I dont use many built in java classes so i have no need for that.
I might as well as use WordPad for all i care, wouldnt make a difference.

Yeah, I said it. I can't do anything with it but throw a few pictures around, and paste them together, and on occation, add a few filters. It's far from Photoshop. . .

I dick around with Adobe Photoshop CS3 occasionally.  I'm not very good with it.  

I use a lot of hardware in my network setup though . . . lol.  I guess i'm more about toys than practical hardware.  Who else do you know that has a 4U rackmount server in his closet?

Yeah I've done some Adobe Photoshop work myself. I'm not good at it but its fun messing around. Learned how to work it from a friend of mine but never realy got in depth into it.

The most I know how to do is organize, manage, and maintain things. Been writing crap all my life. I also have good experience in forum management. Ohh and I have done some website designing.

I always like learning new skills. Knowing things really does come in handy. Always searching for something knew to learn.
