As u know, MLU is missing a lot of essential elements that would make it a good game. So I need help in the following areas:
1. Graphics
2. Sounds
3. Database access (for online high-score table)

Sorce Forge, huh?.. I been there once briefly (when u first told me). Ill investigate it more thoroughly next time.

About the sounds. See i never had a single bip in all of my games so im completely clueless about sound-file formats, and space/performance considerations. Dont know what music will be good for motherload. Dont know how to make java make sounds (though i can read about it).    
If u would like a shot at making sounds, i wont be much help/advice to you. With graphics at least i could tell what looks good and what doesnt.

What exactly do you mean by help with Database access?  I can provide a MySQL database, and webspace if necessary.

What i mean is that i need a database for online score table. And a way for java to communcate with that database. Im kinda clueless about networking and database so dont wanna make wrong assumptions. I think its sort of stuff described here:

So i want to access the database, read or write stuff to it, and not worry about anything else.

Ah! I'm not a SQL programmer, but the website you linked to looks pretty decent.  The only thing I can see is wrong with it is you would have to pass a URL to the webserver without the user seeing it.  IE you couldn't really have the web browser open to add the score because the user would be able to see the URL and it rather easy to decipher its structure and add whatever you wanted to add. Also you would probably want to add some kind of mechanism to check the reported score against the time the player has played.  If a user has played for 15 minutes and has a score of billions that doesn't seem likely.  Otherwise you would have a crap score board flooded with junk.  Just my 2c.

so can u do any kind of online high score table using databases?
I dont care if its not secure. I dont expect people to hack into it too much. Plus, if i can write anything to the DB and read anything from it, i can find a way to prevent it. Im not realy sure how DBs work, you know.

I dont think anyone could see the URL cause its all internal. Unless he decifers the class file...

thats goofy as hell.  I told it to edit my post but it deleted it.  So I went to re-add it and you already responded . . lol.  I sent it about 10 minutes ago to that email address.  Do you have any type of IM client.  There is a client made by google called Google Talk and it has the basic functionality of an IM client, but it also checks you gmail account for email as well.

Well a webpage is not exactly related to the game, though it helps spreading it i guess. If u wanna do a webpage for it, be my guest. Only i  dont understand much in web-hosting, HTML, XML, CSS or any of that stuff. So i wont be a help in designing, maintaining, or updating it... Again, dont wanna pay for domain name either. ;-)
Anything else, YOU suggest it. If i find it usefull we'll do it. I kinda dont see anything monumentally important like sounds that the game needs...

While I can design the web page and supply a third level domain name (whatever.scorpiontek.org)  I can't pay for a second level domain name(whatever.com/net/org)   I do however recommend the DNSexit.com service.  Its what I use and its like 12.95/year for domain names.  I probably won't code a web page, i'll probably use a content managment system like Joomla or PHPNuke.  They are a lot easier for people to use than editing web pages.  It has a graphical back end with a WYSIWYG editor that is really easy to use.

You are probably aware that i dont understand a thing about Joomla, PHPnuke, and that WYS thing. If that works for u, it works for me.
If the best thing that you could get me for free is whatever.scorpiontek.org, ill take it.
