Yo alexxz4, if you still care for MLU, I need to show you some suggestions:

You've made a mistake with petroleum and coal. Both come from biological
sustances. Since crematoria has a very hazardous environment, is doubtful
that any kind of life form has been developed or was developed time ago. I consider that crematoria is a young planet because of this environment, so I think you should rename coal and petroleum to something that have the same
(or kind of the same) effect (battery charge), like a radioactive material that can be used as fuel (in the case of coal) or a hot mineral that can be used with a heat extractor (or kind of, is just an idea) to charge the battery. (Have you heard of geo-termal energy plants?, I was thinking about
the upgrade of the supership, a basic geo-termal device can be used to extract heat from this mineral).

Also I would like to tell you about that "missions" that are given when we are playing the game. Some "missions" give ridiculous objetives. Ie, one mission asked me to dig 24 cesium. Since cesium is so radioactive you must have a 5'lead bio-x shielding, that cost 100.000$ to bring all the 24 (also
consider the time you need to bring that to the base). In that part of the game, is virtually impossible to have that upgrade without cheating. I would've thanked if you revise again the code of that "missions".

I've noticed that you spend too much time encrypting the game, rather than upgrading it (as I've seen). Please notice that no code is invulnerable to hacking and somebody that has the will to hack your game will, indeed, hack
your game. The only thing that you can accomplish with this level of encryption is to prevent newbies or fans to hack your game. Further encryption is useless.

Please, could you add a width indicator next to the other indicators? Because since mlu2 height is not so
important but width, will be helpful if you add a indicator there, since most of the time you look to the bottom, right?

A good improvement coul be a discount when buying some upgrades, but only if you find X amount of that upgrade mineral (ie, 1 kryptonite 20% off when buying the kryponite hull/battery. 1 bronze 10% off for bronze hull, 2 diamonds for 30% discount on the drill or 1 to 20% off for the hull, and so on). This could be a good idea and also, promote users to dig special minerals, when giving to the minerals some other use rather than money.

Also you can add some kind of "radiation convertor" which uses the radiation heat to convert it to battery charge, at the cost of consuming all (or half) of the mineral value. The amount of charge could be the same (or half) of the radiation value of the mineral, or also could be a upgradeable device, which charges more when more upgraded it is.

I've noticed that the battery upgrade is not so important, while the others are. With the radiation coversor it may be more important (But you should think about adding more fuel consumption of something like that, to balance).

Hope you write back, regards.

(Sorry for my bad english, but I have been writing this some days, and also I've got some inconsistences too).
(Remember that if you improve the game much, you can ask Xgen to hire you!... kidding, I don't think you want that.)

Ah, the 'radiation converter' is already in there. Ever heard of the nuclear reactor in the game?

And naturally heated areas of hot, sludgy rocks would be a good feature instead of petroleum and coal. But I have heard there is an area on Crematoria where comets frequently land. It may be plausible for coal to exist there, as comets brought life in huge numbers when Earth was a slightly crusty ball of magma.

I'm making a MLU let's play and I'm at 23,000 ft,going good.

Well, there are some cosmic events, like gamma ray/xray  bursts from a near star that can blow the entire atmosphere off a planet, incinerating most life and cooking the rest to coal/petroleum.

Yeah, it is often hard to complete cesium missions. Though if you have the 20,000$ bio-x, it can hold 20 cesiums, so you could complete the mission when you have to collect that amount. The gold/platinum missions are much easier, though you have to dig fast.

No actually, I havent spent so much time encrypting it. I dont do it just for fun, but when people start hacking and telling everyone else how to hack. Anyways, if you are really not into hacking, this shouldnt bother you as it doesnt affect the execution speed or file size that much.

Well, there is an indicator at the top right corner. It shows your distance in earth blocks.

It will start to get more important playing the second half of the game. You would only be able to last 1/10 the time you can if you didnt have the battery.

Anyways, I'll try to change a few things when the next version is to be released.

Well is actually hard for me to believe that Crematoria could had life in it. Specially if there is a star near that brings radiation.
Even for microorganisms is hard to grow and evolve in that harsh environment, and if that kind of life could really survive, you need big amounts of that life (you know that a drop of bacteries could had more than 20 millions of that?).
Anyways, it doesnt' need to be a realistic game if you want.
Remember that the star is first, later the planet.
(And that radiation kill cells).

Hi alexxz4, I am a new fan of MLU. I've got to admit that I'm really impressed by your work   . Even though its insanely difficult, I am still lured in by the concept. great job.

As I contined to play, I noticed that I was losing mental health from the engine failing so much. So I thought, there has got to be something to ease the problem. I came up with the idea of engine repair/restart that automaticlly activates if your engine fails. Of course, you'll have to buy it. Like when you have to buy a number of dynamite(not when you get a one buy, infinite use, like a jet glider)

Ok, I'll see what I can do.
Which version are you playing MLU1 or MLU2? MLU2 warns you if your engine is working too hard.
And no need to double-post and double-double-post...

I was playing MLU 2 the summer 09 version. If you can, could you tell others about it. So you can get some kind of idea of how people think of it.
