Ok I made this werid looking device in 5 minites and i was wondering if anyone was interested in me becoming a graphics designer...


Ok just know that this is much bigger then it would be in the game i am expecting it to be a very small device found in the dirt...

Ok I have more art i just made (took 10 minutes)
I have an idea for an mlu set on earth and you can find other stores when you go deep under ground which sell and advertise things you can't get from the normal shop.

This is an example of what an advertisement (made by me) would look like for a store underground selling premium hulls


If you did not spot it the hull was the black/gold thing on the right.

Note This is not real but The idea this Image is trying to display is on this planet When it becomes night time Creatures from under the ground try to kill you. Only at night and the further you go down the more dangerous creatures...

Anyway I doubt Thats what mlu 3 is going to be about so don't get to excited.

Note I was sort of silly and limited the amount of space i had so could not fit much onto this. Surprisingly this took 25 minites to make (a very long time).

I am so glad you like it...
But there is one thing you need to know.
I can not be the only graphincs designer because there are some things with graphics that i can't do.

My graphics as you have seen focus around things that are not complicated...

Well let me give you an example. Eveything i have done is quite word based and well more advertising/info screen...

So a massive warning would be... If there was mlu 3 i will not be the only graphics designer. I would be good for lots of other things such as mission screens or mini devices you find e.g. mobile phone.

Well just to keep you happy here is more art.

Just know i am not good at drawing stuff like minerals so the coal may look very weird.

Just too prove i am bad at making stuff like buildings or mining things next time i will try and draw the mining thing (ship I think)...

Ok Now i want to show you how my art can be very very bad...

This is the reason i can not be doing all the graphics by myself.

I spent only 10 minutes but even if i spent a long time it would be crap...

Ok this is a picture of the sort of digging machine with the grass and soil below it and a few random minerals i quickly made which look horrible...

Remember this is a quick 10 minute attempt and also remember this is way out of my area of what i can do so expect to throw up.



Ok as you can see it is very crap and even if i spent more time on it it would still be crap.

So as you can see i can be a graphics designer for a little bit of the stuff but now much.

I am only 14 so don't expect anything to be as good as seths amazing work.

Ok now i want to show you a little bit of good work instead of my last picture... Thats why we need another graphics designer.

Anyway here is something i was not going to do because i thought i was crap at it but i did not turn out to bad... This is my motherload unlimited 3 mineral list.



So what do you think of the minerals.

Also i am starting to slow down with my work now as i am thinking that alex does not seem to really pay any attention to this.

Alex if you like any of the things i have made i can easily be part of your graphics team.

If you want to use the stuff i have made so far i would be more then happy for you to go ahead with it and take what you like. Also any idea's i have mentioned are also available for you to take as you please. MLU seemed dead so i wanted to bring it back to life.

If you want more art fine i am happy to make it. Its also good practice for school because i am practicing making my own company called zeon and we are doing all this stuff which is very hard.

What i have done so far has been my own thoughts and it may not be what you want. If want want something in particular just tell me and i will make it for you.

Just know about my limits and my styles of work. Please don't tell me too draw the digging machine i already did and failed badly at it...

Yeah, you could be. All you need is to find a programmer, which is not hard to do since they are prowling the streets looking for something to do. I am definately not making MLU 3 since it is almost dead.

You have to talk to my board of directors, they make all the personel hirings. lol.
Lemme tell you about "my team". They consist of me, myself, and yours truly; and I can get them all to work on MLU when me is awake and myself is not busy with something else...
I really appreciate all you've done, but it takes more than a programmer and a graphics designer to keep a project going. You need a budget and a demand from clients, and programming is not construction industry where the slogan is "if you build it they will come". Programming projects dont work that way.

Anyway now that i have gained experience for trying to make graphics for this project i am now good enough for my own.

I am quite a crap programmer due to memory lose but i am sure i can do something because i have made heaps of stuff with gm7pro.

Anyway since mlu is dead... (i had no idea untill now) I am probably going to leave this forum forever and maybe come back in 1 year to see what has happend.

If anyone liked my graphics here you don't have to ask me about them just go ahead and use them...

Well, the inactiveness of the forum and the extremely large mountain of doubt that there will ever be an update for MLU 2 or a MLU 3 makes this the worst forum I have ever come across. Now the only things I can look forward to are watching 28 Weeks Later, a possibility of going to the Sydney Royal Easter Show and seeing the girl I've got a crush on at the start of next high-school term.

Well, about 3% of all forums have 1900 or more posts (most of the forums are free boards like this one). So it is definitely not the worst forum [you've come across]. Maybe you are just upset that I am not going to spend 100 times more hours making it than you playing it.

Quite a few of us are kids e.g me 14 and glumski is 13... and diggerguy well i am not sure but from his mlu lets play he sounds about... 16.

The thing about kids is they don't usually have credit cards and thats what you need for the internet.

E.g. i see heaps of stuff on the net but i can't buy any of it so... well i do stuff to get it and yea but i just can't buy it.

I have spent about 60 hours on my life doing online survay things the claim to say you are going to get money from this e.g. get 10 point and you will get $5 but i never get that

Alexxz4 if you want to be payied you need advertising because it seems you have only 3 Main players to your games:

"diggerguy"
"glumski"

I know the best place for advertising though. Ok on the internet there are may games like this:
Mars miner : mission based.
Martin miner: Eventually spam took over.
Mining Boy: Great except you pay to save.
xgen motherload: where you got your idea from.
There are more but i can't think of any right now. You can go on their forums and advertise and then well... you could charge people money per save. Or if you want to encourage people to donate you could have a donation bar at the top of your website and then when people donate they see the bar move across a bit and when its gone all the way you release you next game.

Anyway remember with just 3 fans (there are more but they died) your not gunna make much if any money.

If Glumski went on some sort of exchange trip and came to my school we'd be in the same year, my 13th birthday is in about 1 & 1/2 months. Epic win, I sound like a 16 year-old!
Anyway, how about when the 'funds' meter reaches the end he starts making mlu3? [ for like $1000,maybe $5000] Cuz that's good money. And maybe start selling mlu2 after mid-2009.

I looked it up on wikipedia.

I found out that school is in australia OMG. The same place i live. Then i though wow you are the first person i met online that lives in the same country as me.

Then i see NSW (new south wales) Same state As me meaning you must live about a few hours away from me...

Then i see the place it is located North Turramurra I have never heard of that place before soo.... i brang up google earth and what do you know its right near me.

My house is 39 minites from turramurra if you drive. 23.5 kilometers.

I never thought someone on this forum was right near me...

Well looks like we live right in the same state and not far apart but right near eachother in the state very weird...

Well,i can't keep up with the graphics.Time to update.
Time to make some better graphics.But it will not be easy.
Cuz it's a challange,and i'm up for it.Well,i thinks.
Perhaps it should be called Motherload NGX instead of MLE?I don't know.
