Suprisingly, you wont play MLU in a browser anymore since its gonna be an application.
I prefer using IE7 to play it because its useless for internet browsing and I use firefox instead.

Yeah, it is. Application has several advantages over an applet: it doesnt require the security clearance and its a bit faster and lower on memory use. Why do you consider this bad?

It's not going to be that "Game-Maker style" executable?
Well,that's okay.

There will be less confusion since there will be only one JAR file without the HTML page.

It's gonna be an executable like Need For Madness, that you still need Java for it?

IE7 hates java. Everytime there is a java applet on the page it blocks it and asks for your permission to run it. So annoying.
You would still need java to run MLU2.

I use IExplorer.
MLU2 an .exe? GREAT! But: When does it come out? (I hate waiting.) (Funny, I'm in this forum for a few weeks and now I can speak English better than before.)

well not exactly .exe, it will be clickable .jar
Ill also release an .exe bundled with JRE but it will be about 20MB in size.
So far ive tested 3/5 of MLU2.

How about installing tool? Is it possible to create "setup.exe" which is smaller than game filesize? Imagine... Download fast, install in few minutes and enjoy

What you want an installer??????
All those installers do is pollute your programs derictory and start-up bar and install stuff like Zango, download manager, google tool bar, trojans, and other useless and dangerous stuff.
It would not decrease file size by much anyways.

Oh 20MB is a lot! OK, some people have a fast internet, but the most don`t have.
Sometimes the internet is slowlier than other times...
A clickable .jar is nice. I think MLU2 shouldn`t be installed in the registry, but an installer is a good idea, too

Good ideas: Windows, XP, Firefox, Java, no installers
Bad ideas: Mac, Unix, Vista, IE7, C++, installers.
